i will always remember my first job in Australia. Rendez vous at the Olympic Park where the Easter show is held, 900,000 people!!.
10am i pick up my uniform, blue shorts, yellow polo and a tacky cap, i am driven to my amusement game. 4 basket ball nets (non regulation...oval!!!Bloody gypsys!!) and my best weapon, a MICROPHONE! :"2 shots for 5$, 5 shots for 10! Come on everybody easy game, easy win!!" ... This were my only words for 12 hours a day, for 4 long long days!
Loud music, bright lights, shouting children (and adults), ballons, huge toys and the many many balls that rebounded off my head "oooops sorry!!!" (x20 a day!) can only describe the atmosphere. In the end, bruises all over, no voice, sore feet from standing and 750$ in my pocket...
Best memories: The crazy obsesive chinese who pay 75$ for a measly super Mario and a 6 year old who spends 5$ and wins twice!
A gypsy's life is not made for me.....! hehehe
