KeKe Homestay

We really enjoyed our fairly short stay at Keke's, a family run homestay, in Sanur. Out of all the other places that we have stayed in, it was by far the best atmosphere! The family was very helpful and welcoming and the other guests were great fun. In the evenings, we all got together to play cards, 2 dutch, 2 english, 1french, 1 japenese, 1 german and 2 swedish all playing shithead or seven (a japenese game)!
On our last night, the english guy and us two, went out to a night market and got supper. It was one of the best meals i've eaten here! You just pick and choose what you want with your rice, Satay "brochettes", spicy chicken curry, steaming vegetables, boiled eggs, disturbing looking meat mixture....... and your "chef" will put it all in a cone shaped paper.....Et Voila your takeaway! All for only 1.50 euro! Delicious!

As you devour your takeaway ducking in and out of bustling stores, it's funny how you find yourself thinking your on a film set for "Aladin"!

Sanur has been wonderful and we thouroughly enjoyed it!

Now onto UluWatu....
